At the Canadian distributor link, promo code FPB910AH results in the message "FPB910AH is not a valid code or has expired."

Ordered my SL2Vi iPod adapter last week and received it two days later. Installed it this weekend. The instructions are a snap. The unit and wiring tucks in nicely next to the driver’s side of the shifter. The only tricky part of the install was removing the AC vents to remove the navigation unit.

I can verify that video playback works flawlessly with the new iPhone 3GS.

Thanks for the group discount on a great product!

Default SL2Vi vs. SL2i-UP

If I buy SL2Vi and couldn't connect it to the NAV in my LS430, can I use it for Audio only and leave the connection to the Nav not connected?

You can get SL2Vi and play video from your iPod on the screen, or you can get SL2Vu and play video from any universal source.

You can do that or you can just exchange it for SL2i-UP if you couldn't make video to work.

I just talked to these guys and they are having a problem with website and with Promo code. But they do honor those prices and you can contact them via email : info@matrixtrading.ca

Hi,

Does SL2i-UP works for Toyota sienna 2005?

I plan to buy 2 of these units, one for my lexus and other one for my toyota.

I am in Canada and it still make senses to order 2 from you instead from matrixtrading because ($440 USD + shipping) vs ($540 CDN + shipping + GST) and (1CDN = 96 cent USD)

your thoughts?

SL2i-UP is compatible with 2004 Sienna, not sure if it'll show text, it depends on the radio.

Thanks!

Hi VaisTech, I have a similar question as above. I have a 2006 GS300 with Nav & ML. I assume the VML is the adapter I should get? I've also sent a PM for a list of nearby dealer to have it installed (hopefully).

I will most likely be connecting an internal hd or an external one. What is the best way to order for this group buy + coupon deal?

Many thanks in advance.

Canadians: It may be cheaper to buy directly from VaisTech.

SL2Vi from US: $269.99 + $55.64 (UPS Worldwide Express to Ontario) = $325.63 USD = $342.18 CAD @ 1CAD=0.95USD
SL2Vi from Canada: $355.00 + $28.40 (8% GST) + $17.75 (5% Ontario PST) = $401.15 CAD

Assuming that the UPS Worldwide Express option covers the brokerage and customs charges (http://www.ups.com/content/ca/en/shi...clearance.html), or that the charges are less than $58.97CAD, you would save money by purchasing directly from VaisTech.

VaisTech, can your Canadian distributor provide better pricing?
