Has anyone done this to any 06 GS models? Lexus of Charlotte N.C is saying that this CC key would not work due to some kind of different "frequence" btw my key fob and the CC key. On top of that I sent them the link above showing step by step how it has been done, they printed it out but no luck either. They are still saying they can "try" to do a master reset which will take up to 2 hours!! Any thoughts of what's going on?

I plan on ordering the Smart card and the key for my 2008 Is250 from SewellParts.com.
If I bring those in to Sewell Lexus will they cut and program it for no extra charge?

Just a heads up for you people trying to get the smart card programmed. I went to 2 different dealerships to get it programmed to my car and they couldn't do it. Then I checked the battery in the smart card and it was dead. I went back to the dealer with a new battery and they programmed it no problem. I've had this thing for over a month now and I love it.
