I think you will need it for the supercharger or it will work in conjunction with it.

If you are thinking of getting the supercharger anytime soon, I wouldn't get the new intake. The MAF housing is reused for the SC, but that's about all.

Any news on the supercharger kit Rafi? Just curious if it's on schedule for release.

Cheers.

Hey Rafi, when you get free moment could you update us with status of tuned intake. I'm waiting to place my order for ECU tune, USRS, A/O Separator and tuned intake. I want to place them all at the same time. Also any information regarding supercharger would be great.

If you plan to do the supercharger conversion, pretty sure you won't want the tuned intake. Think Rafi confirmed it won't be compatible?

Just a thought.

Hey all... so here is a little preview of the tuned intake. We now have 3 cars running with prototype versions. Unfortunately the shop car has the supercharger installed, so we won't have final installed pics until a few days (Sunday/Monday).

Pricing will be $550 with intro price of $495. That includes a retune if you already have our tune. We will also have a special package price for tune+intake for those who do not yet have our tune.

The intake cannot be used with the Supercharger.

So here is a little preview, and final pics and ordering info going up on Sunday/Monday:

Car feels really good with this intake. The plan is to test it at the drag strip tomorrow night. To me the most noticeable gains are below 3.6k rpms the torque increase there feels incredible. I honestly think 60' times in the 1.7xx can be obtained on street tires now but we'll find out for sure tomorrow. Thanks again Rafi for everything!

Rafi,

So does this mean the two stage stock set-up has been eliminated? Or is it still incorporated into this design?

It does eliminate the 2 stage setup.

Does that mean the sweet 2nd stage roar now starts below 3500 rpm? If so, that'd be cool with me

I hate the two stage thing. It's been disconnected and capped for a while now. My air intake temps are slightly cooler with the flap permanently open. At least while moving. Power is more linear feeling to me with it open as well as exhaust note (still stock). No dyno to prove that though.
