i bought my first set and returned it because i listened to my friends and was peer pressured into doing something that i didn't want to do. so, after thinking it over for a while, i bought them again. my stupid friends can deal with their stupid springs.

seriously, going back and forth like that is such a pain in the butt and waste of time. u cant adjust springs so you gotta get rid of it if you want some adjustments. i wanted to get spring too but my friends insisted on me getting a coil instead xD best decision so far.

yep, that's what i've heard. i haven't heard a negative experience with coilovers other than perhaps compromised ride quality.

I think that coils and springs each serve their own purpose. Each has pros and cons.
You can't adjust springs, but then again you don't need to rebuild them ever so often.
Coils don't do so well in certain environments, like areas with winter, snow, where there is salt and/or brine on the roads.
And it depends what you are going to do with the vehicle...daily driver...weekend track car...or dedicated track car.
I've driven vehicles with both...and really comes down to what you are using the vehicle for.
Considering the cost differential between coils and springs, I'm hard pressed to justify putting coils on a daily driver.
It would be the same as putting track pads on daily driver...just my point of view though.
The last car I had with coils and track pads sucked as a daily driver...but great as a weekend track car.
