Does anyone have any long term updates on the IS300 tune? Any reliability issues? MPG (KPG)? Issues with Lexus dealer service? I've read all the past reviews, but possibly missed some more recent ones. Also, how hard is it to go back to stock map if we need to go to get service, or is it once you flash, it's permanently logged that you flashed your ECU?

I have a 2016 IS 300 AWD fsport

I was looking for feedback for the longest time as well but decided to just buy the tune. switching to stock map was very easy since you get 3 maps on the handheld device, and I just serviced my car going back to the stock tune with no issues, . so far I have had it for about 2 weeks and I did not notice any significant change in mileage. dont expect a butt rushing pull off the line with the upgrade as I did not feel any difference in the low end. However I am very impressed with the mid to top range. the different is very noticeable up there since the stock tune seems to feel like it is working very hard but now feels effortless and sounds smooth and powerful like a true V6. if your hovering around 3k RPM+, the car definitely feels jumpy and power on tab ready to move. which I like..

Thanks, keep us posted on how reliable the car is afterwards. I'm guessing it shouldn't cause any issues since it is essentially the same engine as the 350, but not sure how the rev increase, etc. will treat it. I'll probably get it soon too, but would hate to sacrifice the remainder of my warranty for something unreliable.

I was told the rev increase only applies to the 3rd tune file which is a manual shift only tune where the automatic shifting is disabled.

Is the development done on this? Weren't there some issues with the rwd tune that needed fixing? Is the transmission tunable?

not sure if different years are different when it comes to the higher rev limiter. On my 2014 IS350 I can hit the 7200k rpm limit on all modes except eco. That includes using the padels or leaving it in drive.

We are still working with the developer of our OBD programmer on this. We even sent them a 2017 ECU to work with.... pushing as hard as we can!

We can bench program 2017 ECU's, but this requires mailing it to us, or stopping by our shop.

Hey all,

Just wanted to announce that a simple solution has been found for the 6000 rpm limit issue we had to impose on the RWD Supercharger kit. So now that's solved, the RWD results will match the AWD results.

We are working on tuning the RWD and will release results shortly.

So.... for all you RWD folks on the fence about buying the SC, the new rev limit will be 6700rpm without issues!

Does anyone have any time slips after a Stg1 or Stg2 pass in a GS350 RWD?
Has anyone with a 2014 GS350 RWD confirmed the tune will work without long wait times?
Also, any idea on the typical SC hour count for instal and tune? I would assume around 10hrs? Is that conservative?
Thanks!

I would say about 10hr total install time is normal.

We have not installed or sold to a GS350 RWD customer yet.... only GS350 AWD.

Not sure by "tune will work without long wait times?"
