Default Southbay lexus

Anyone service their GS at Southbay Lexus? Any thoughts or opinions? I need to get my 1st oil change done but would like to go somewhere that handles the car w/ care. Don't want my car to get messed up. Is Longo Lexus better? Open to any suggestions. Thx.

Highly recommend. All my service is done there. best prices for service and parts in all of LA. Drew is great. Mechanics very friendly and will talk to you.

Longo isn't cheapest and feels like getting work done at Walmart.

I called once to schedule a repair and they didn't have any loaners available until a week ahead. With Jim Faulk I was able to make an appointment the day before and was still given a loaner.

It might be a drive for you, but I always recommend Pete at Westminster.

He's member here with his own 2IS and their service center is in a completely different building a block away from their sales dealership.

I like that because you get no sales pitch while waiting and it gives a more dedicated feel

I have good experiences at Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys. Ask for Shawn Padron if you go there. He's a car guy so he understands us. Free loaner car as well.

I think they are ok but not perfect. When I do the TSB for the rear trunk opening, they probably reuse some of the broken retainers so I have to ask them to replace them the next time I bring in for service. No biggie, but it is the little things...

South Bay has always been good to my family. My mom and dad have bought and serviced numerous Lexus' from them over the years.

Jim Falk is horrible. People take their cars there just to say they go to Beverly Hills Lexus. Jim Falk knows this and is normally higher than say Santa Monica or South Bay. My grandparents live in BH and take their Lexus' to Santa Monica. They avoid all BH dealerships due to the "prestige" people think they get by going to them.

Jim Falk is by far, the worst dealership I had to deal with. They have the worst service. They also messed up my car and didn't even bother to fix it. I avoid Bev Hills Lexus like the plague. I personally like Glendale Lexus the best.

Can you recommend a service mgr at Southbay? is it easy to get a loaner from Southbay? I live close to Longo but work near Southbay. So I have both options.

Opinion's will vary on this topic regarding service centers to go.

I always go to Westminster Lexus or Longo Lexus.

Pete Phat @Wesminster Lexus is CL guy.

+1 for Lexus of Westminster. Ask for Pete Phat or Charlie Sarno.

FYI South Bay offers a 15% discount on service if you're a Costco member

I've personally never been there so I can't speak to their quality of work
