My friend just texted me telling me he got a ticket yesterday for having his high beams on

Is this even possible? He was parking in the parking lot (at night) and accidentally had his high beams on

Damn the cop must have been having a bad day.

thats hilarious honestly. i dont think thats ticket worthy? but who knows... im no cop. i say fight it and see that officer in court! he probably wont even show up.

My friend got high beams on during driving and got ticket for $270 (included traffic school). In your friend case is little difference but not much cause his could blind other car and causing accident. Good luck to your friend!!!

I've had it happen to me at college. It was accidentally on when I started the car. The police cruiser strolling by saw it and parked right behind my car. He said that I could get a ticket for it, as the vehicle was in operation. I told him it was an accident and just flicked it off. He just went away after.

It's part of VC 24409 (a) and (b), but the car wasn't "(a) ...approaching an oncoming vehicle...," or "(b) ...following a vehicle...."

One time I was driving around 2am. There was a cop on the opposite lane and we were waiting for the light to turn green. I drove then I see him hauling *** and weaving back and forth to get to me. He goes, do you know why I pulled you over? I said no, he told me that I highbeamed him. Why in the world would i highbeam you? I questioned him, did my fogs turn off? He said no, then I didnt highbeam you. Maybe it was my projectors that flickered.

He goes, okay then. Well i'll give you a tint ticket. SIGH

If you friend contest the ticket following "helpigotaticket.com" he will probably get his case dismissed. I got a ticket for going 55 in a 40. Obviously was a trap because no more then an 1/8 mile down the road is a 45 zone. He was a LA sheriff traffic division motorcycle. To my surprise I got a dismiss from a trial by declaration.

damn im kinda scared of my bright *** hids now. my regular HID's are brighter than my high beams

thats a hefty ticket, ill prob use the same fog light excuse though.

pretty lame, but u can get one! My mom accidentally flipped hers on while putting on her jacket leaving work and a cop gave her a ticket. Oh, and this cop knows my mom cuz his ex wife gets her nails done by my mom ha ah ha. I just finished my moms traffic school online too.

Maybe the cop is as irritated... Cuz it does **** me off when I see idiots driving on the road with their high beams on while I keep turning on and off my lights or flashing my highs for them to realize they have their high beams on and... they still don't do anything about it.
