Default This heat spell is crazy!

A heat related vent...

Each summer season and part of fall we have the usual heat spells that go a week or so. The past 2 months have been wacko and today at 105F is It has been a spell since I can recollect consistent 90F+ days and with humidity. I'm inside so it isn't an issue but the forthcoming utility statement is one I'm not anxious to see. Last month it was $240 and with these hot humid days, I figure the next one will be $280-$300.

Keep cool and hydrated.

We're 17 miles inland so we get some heat but not terribly so. I just did an IR reading from the wall that is in the shade, the temp came back at 107F. The concrete patio now in shade was 117F. Many of the potted plants wilted and the grass is definitely dried out. I have to figure out a place to shade the plants or by Monday they will be dead. Tomorrow more of the same weather.

I think the flip flops melted . Hahaha....

Yep its no joke! My car was showing 108F today cruising around. I actually burned myself getting in the car because i accidentally grabbed the metal part when grabbing for the seat belt!!! That's the last time I'll ever forget to put up the sunshade lol.

Sunny socal is always a sauna this time of year. What's really odd is that I'm looking outside my office and I see college kids wearing Uggs and thick jackets. I guess they're sweating off the pounds that way. Can't wait for fall and winter- cooler temps and the holidays!

I went to the LTBMW meet and holly crap, it was around 108 degrees outside in the sun, went back in my car and it was 110.
Went to Riverside yesterday afternoon and 626 is much better off with the 108's than the 110-115s in riverside!

Default I keep on starring at the Temp Gauge

Days like these, remind me to check my coolant level. It's never hurt to physically and visually Verify.
