Ok my mom's old mercedes s320 has been having problems and the main problem now is the trunk wont close. She got some guy to tie some metal piece to it which I think is pretty ghetto. Im trying to find a shop that wil fix her trunk but no luck.

If you need another shop, this is where I bought some oem mb parts:
They can do diagnostics and repair also.

Have you checked on mbworld to see what they say?
Since it's pneumatic (soft close), the pump is failing. Have you looked into that?
