If you get it done at UAS it has a lifetime warranty on the labor, and usually if you have a failed part, not likely, they will swap it out for nothing or next to nothing. Id rather have someone whos an expert do the install, you wouldn't want to be driving on an LA freeway and lose your air ride. Not cool. Btw, you could always try and negotiate a better price on the install, Ive heard its been done before..

$1000 is actually reasonable considering how much labor is involved with installing air suspension. If I were you I would go to UAS and have it installed by them. They designed the kit and they will warranty their work and fix any installation error. They'll also be able to properly fix any suspension geometry errors to get the proper clearance for bags. The last thing you would want is to have a kit installed and then your bag blows out. I've sat in a parking lot in the middle of the night trying to fix air suspension before. It isn't fun at all.

yeah the labor into air suspension installation is insane. someone installed it for me cheaper than that price, he used to own a auto shop, installed few bags before.

but the coils/cup kit is WAY more $ before the labor. i've seen UAS's work and it's decently ok, not show quality at least in my eyes. you cannot beat the warranty though. platinum does great work, show quality work but will cost ya.

it is labor intensive but not overly complicated. it's basically a suspension and stereo install at once. of course since not all setups are the same, some installs are more elaborate than others. good luck!

Getting air suspension to work is easy. Getting the installation neat and organized is the hardest and most time consuming part.
