I got pulled over earlier tonight on Valley Blvd & Nogales in Walnut/West Covina. I drive a 2008 IS250 with F-Sport exhaust, springs, shocks and and
tinted windows all around ( 35% IN Front & limo in rear windows). car is lowered about an inch due to f-sport shocks/springs.

Cop's were both asian (chinese & korean). Asked me If i was affiliated with any asian gangs in the area of Walnut, West Covina, Rowland Hts, or Hacienda Hts.

I SAID NO!

Cop said he pulled me over cause modiffied exhaust and tinted window's!
Asked me again If I was affiliated with any asian gang. I said NO!
I'm from Honolulu, HI.
Then asked me all kinda HI question's to see If I was lying. Every q he
asked me. My answer was right off the b at which stunned him that I
wasn't lying. Told him I have uncles and several cousins that are cops for Honolulu PD.
Asked me the names and come to find out were related thru marriage by my cousin. LOL.

Anyway, he let me go due to the Hawaii connection.
And, they both apologized for the asian profiling. LOL

BUT HE TOLD ME THIS THAT LA COUNTY SHERIFF'S WILL BE WRITTING
ALOT OF TICKETS FOR MODDIFIED EXHAUST, TINTED WINDOWS,
NO FRONT PLATES AND ANY OTHER MOVING VIOLATION REALLY STRICT
THE ENTIRE MONTH OF JANUARY!

ON VALLEY BLVD FROM GRAND AVE ( WALNUT SHERIFF STATION ) ALL THE WAY TO 605 FWY ( CITY OF INDUSTRY SHERIFF STATION ).

SO, IF YOU DRIVE THIS STRETCH OF VALLEY BLVD. DRIVE WITH CARE AND LOOK FOR 5.0!

it's almost the same in my area (rosemead/san gabriel/arcadia/alhambra/el monte), asian gang unit pulls over suspected people and questions them if they're in any gang. if not, then they pick on the mods you have on your car. my friend got followed in an unmarked patrol car too. just keep an eye out.

I take Valley from Fairway to Azuza M-F all the time. These ****** will pull over all suspect looking Asians. Hence the Asian Gang Unit. They messed with me a few times, but I had nothing on me. I was in different cars all at different times and its the same group of them. (G35 Goupe- Said I had exhaust. LOL its stock!, Dodge Neon- I can't blame em, I had limo tint. But I have yet to be F'd with in my LS )
They just on a power trip IMO. It happens to the most innocent of us sometimes too.

Thanks for the headsup though if anything.. I'm re-route my way home. hahahaha It's the path I take when I get off work.

many thanks for the heads up. I used to valley to get to Cal Poly too. I now use it to get to work vs the 10 fwy.


That explains why Ive seen a few more of em.

They need to do something more productive.
Is there no more crime in this world?
