Nope. He's got a TSX but he said that his car wasn't bumpy until he got 19's and 35 series tires.

Originally I wasn't planning to change my rims but the stock 18's are looking kind of plain right now. I will definitely have to take my time to find the right ones to get. He put on the GFX body kit today and it looks pretty good

you have many options.... it all depends on what you want out of the car looks or performance and then you can go even further in depth... Go to a shop that does these things and ask.... and if they give you a b.s answer or quick run around then they are not a professional....That will be the best professional advice I can say on here....

Got my coilovers installed today! I have to say that I was worried for nothing. Tommy set the dampers at 16 and the ride home was fun. It is a noticeable difference from stock with much better control and handling. Even my husband was satisfied with the improvement, as he hated the boat feeling and loose steering on stock.

I know, I'm too chicken to go lower because I don't want to scrape...though I am going to switch out the wheels to get a flush look. Getting in and out of the car is a noticeable difference, even though I didn't drop it that much.

Also, the car has already settled a little lower because it was set 1 finger and now it's tucked under a little. Might be because the old springs are in the trunk weighing it down, I don't know.

Thanks

And thanks to everyone for their advice and comments. I've never been "into" cars before I got my IS...it's so much fun I hope the novelty doesn't wear off soon.

It takes time for everything in the new suspension to settle.

Did you get an alignment done yet? I remember you PM'd me about it

Tommy suggested I wait a couple weeks for the alignment but I did talk to your guy and he's cool so I'm going to go there. Thanks again for the info!!

Don't wait a few week unless you want your tires to wear out more than necessary. Suspensions don't really settle. The only thing that may settle are the rubber spring insulators, but even then, they compress ever so slightly. You can get an alignment a few days afterwards and you'll be fine.
