i got mine done at saddleback eye center back in 1/2007. paid about $4,500 for it and it included an overnight stay at a local hotel/motel so you can recover from the procedure. yelp it and you'll read that most of the reviews describe the staff as patronizing. This is kind of true about the main doctor and the administrative staff, but the assistant doctors and the helper girls/nurses were all really nice and friendly. But the bottom line is that the procedure went very well and I'm very happy with the results and I would definitely do it again.
I did experience dry eyes after the procedure but they warned me about that so I was expecting it. They give you some Systane eye drops when you leave and tell you to use it very often to prevent the eyes from drying out. After a year, you won't need to use it so much. After 3 1/2 years, I seldom use the drops. 1 30mL bottle will last me about 4 months now, whereas I was going through 1 bottle a month right after the procedure. Btw, does anybody know where to get Systane eye drops on the cheap? I used to get it from Costco, but for some reason they stopped carrying it!

I went to the Laser Eye Center in Newport Beach.
Dr. Farnoosh Tinoosh (M.D., FAAO, FABHP) did my eyes. 200/20 vision one day, 20/20 vision the next.
He's done 35,000+ LASIK surgeries. The man has experience, a super clean facility, all the modern equipment, a very friendly staff, no-interest financing (50% of the cost up front, the rest divided into 12 months of no-interest payments), and lots of info/knowledge in preparing you for the surgery.

Don't remember, but the cost depends on how bad your eyes is. I had mine done for about $1500, 2 and a half years ago and my vision is still perfect 20/20 today.
