Default CA Traffic Tickets Fines (Effective 01/06/2010)

Thought I share this with you CA folks and a heads up to how much $$ is expected. Drive safe and don’t get caught

Camera fine may differ than from be cited by a police officer. But the good thing with camera fine is you dont get a point on your DMV record. (Correct me if I am wrong)

Edit: I guess it does count according to post #9

Also a food for thought to anyone whose been busted for speeding and your ticket is checked off something like "By radar." And the area is not indicated by a sign "SPEED CHECKED BY RADAR". YOU CAN FIGHT IT AND WIN! Just prove it with pictures/video ect... You can even google the area and do a print out.

This was forward to me by a friend who is into trafic. From the look of it, its more of an update on violation fine that is in effective as of Jan 2010. But from what I rember a friend of mine she got a fine for a illegal U-turn paid less than $170 a year ago.

I had to pay $270 something for my illegal u-turn with traffic school.
Eff CA!
They think increasing revenue through this and taxes will help to catch up with their spending, spend less. I don't want to be paying for prisoners' meals and DirecTV.

Getting caught by the camera does add a point to ur driving record if you dont go to school for it, i know i had to deal wit a redlight ticket a few months back.

I got a ticket for failure to stop at a "flashing red".

It's $445.00, close enough to the $436......

PERFECT record, I have ZERO points and ZERO moving violation tickets. This is my 1st one. What a DING.
