Big Rains.. means big potholes

i hate those gigantic puddles on the side of streets. bigger cars love to run through them, creating massive splashes. as we all know, lowered cars or even sedans in general- when too much water gets caught underneath the engine area, it could cause hydroplaning. a few friends and family members have had this happened to their lowered cars. all their hard work was for nothing at that point

I just effin' slid out on a curvy road. I wasn't even doing anything crazy. It was kind of fun though, lol and my friend thought I did it on purpose. (cept it reminded me of losing control on ice up in big bear.) LSD helped out.
My friend just got a flat today. He's riding on stockies though, but going up a driveway at school with a huge puddle which was covering the curb

^+1 same here, theres a street near my house that is flooded to the point where one whole side of the street's curb is hidden under water and on that street theres a intersection that the dip is flooded to where a small civic would float if it drove through it. I'd say that the giant puddle would be almost as high as my knees if i walked into it.

I hadn't driven in rain for about 2 and a half years (I always carpooled before and just never had to drive in the rain) so my IS saw rain for the first time this week. And getting splashed on the 110 freeway, I couldn't see anything. I think I had to slow down to about 40 mph (and it was 4:30am, so no traffic) and I was freaking out like a scared little pansy girl hahaha
I hydroplaned once before in my tC years ago on the freeway, so I've learned to not drive in the fast lane when its raining because it floods there. Still scary though

i hear you heartmyis. even in normal driving weather conditions, cars still wanna speed up or cut me off. its not like i was going slow or anything; he just wanted to go really fast. better safe than sorry. driving on the 10 last night to pick my mom from work, a car cut me off, and the guy almost hit the car in front of him because he was going so fast. it simply isnt worth it. he ended up getting pulled over by chp, which i had to chuckle at. serves him right to potentially cause a major accident when it was flat out pouring on the roads.
