Beware of Mobile BAR Units

I've not seen anything like this in the Valley & west side Areas.... but damn,.... this shiz makes me NEVER want to drive my car where these things have been spotted...
I will be Dead Meat!!!
Fuggin hell it really pisses me off how the Govt is slowly tightening the noose on Enthusiasts with older cars... in 5 years or so OUR 2002 + cars will be the OLD cars that will be targeted for crap like this ....
soon they will have total control of our vehicles if they want soon ALL cars will have black boxes that will be real time connected to the big brother observers which you can bet your *** will be some company that some congressman or presidantial cabninet member has a n interest in... and they will be able to monitor your EVERY move from your traffic behavior to your speed etc
think Minority Report and or Bruce Willis's "taxi" cab in the 5th element.... . the " network" will infiltrate EVERYTHING & Google will be in control of it all.
It is only a matter of time ... mark my words.
any Rush fans here ... ? no..? rush who??

& not far from the future reality based on the way we are heading... in a future world where traditional motor vehicles have been banned and outlawed...an enthusiast sneaks off once a week beyond the city limits to sneak an illegal drive in an old outlawed vehicle that his uncle has hidden, maintained & preserved for him in secret.
F'in GREAT song. if not for the mental imagery it generates in any enthusiast with a beating heart....because Rush is still the best damn 3 man band in history!
Red Barchetta-
My uncle has a country place, that no one knows about
he says it used to be a farm, before the Motor Law
On Sundays, I elude the EYES, and hop the Turbine Freight
to far outside the Wire where my white haired uncle waits
Jump to the ground as the Turbo slows to cross the borderline
Run like the wind as excitement shivers up and down my spine
Down in his barn, my uncle preserved for me an old machine
for fifty odd years, to keep it as new has been his dearest dream
I strip away the old debris that hides a shining car
A brilliant Red Barchetta, from a better vanished time
I fire up the willing engine responding with a roar
Tires spitting gravel I commit my weekly crime......
-abridged chorus-
Suddenly, ahead of me, across the mountainside
A gleaming alloy air car shoots towards me two lanes wide
I spin around with shrieking tires, to run the deadly race
Go screaming thru the valley as another joins the chase
Drive like the wind, Straining the limits of machine and man
laughing out loud with fear and hope I've got a desperate plan
At the one lane bridge I leave the giants stranded by the river side
Race back to the farm to dream with my Uncle by the Fireside
This will be me in 20 years...I will be the uncle and my nephew will sneak out to visit me in the sticks where he can take my preserved and pristine Supercharged Silver Lexus out for a romp and avoid the evil air cars that patrol the area looking for scofflaws like me.
now...where i'll get the foogin GAS tho will be a ***** to figure out.

whats there to worry about?? they are strickly doing a survey and IF YOU GET PICKED you can deny it the test if you want. no tickets are issued. STRICKLY for doing surveys on certain gross polluters. all you have to do is ASK.. my family happens to be in the CHP for that area and they say They do not issue tickets, just certain cars. like older ones or diesel they look for to do testing...... everyone CALM DOWN..

From what I understand, the purpose of these mobile BAR units are to find out if smog shops are doing an "honest" job of emissions testing and not fraudulent ones...since some of these cars have "passed" emissions testing at local shops, it's only logical they would also pass on these mobile BAR units as well...If these cars have been smogged recently at a shop and "passed" and all of a sudden fail at one of these mobile bar units...Then that means something is up...And I believe the DMV can find out where that car may have been smogged...and nail the dishonest individual.
