looking for townhouse near UCSD
I will be attending UCSD this fall and my parents have decided that buying a townhouse for me will be much wiser in the long term than renting an apartment since renting in La Jolla will cost 15k-20k a year. I am looking for a townhouse within a 15 mile radius of UCSD with a list price of under 400k but preferably lower around 250k-300kso it can be paid in whole. I prefer the building to be new and in a good location. Anyone can recommend any to cut down my research? Also if anyone is up to date with real estate, what percentage off the list price do you think I can go without insulting?

its in mira mesa but it's up the hills near the qualcomm buildings.
i live t here and its a pretty nice neighborhood.. it's about 5 mins from the 5 and the 805 and has a connected garage!
