Wheel Repair - San Diego Area (The Mother thread)
Anybody know of any good places to have my wheels repaired for relatively affordable? Thanks to our city having no money, the potholes are getting worse and worse....I hit one at night and bent one of my volks gts' and have some rash on another.
I searched the forum but the posts that I've seen for the san diego area are at least a year old. Thanks for the help!

rim repair shops san diego (edit dmg pics up)
hey guys
unfortunately yesterday i was on the 15 freeway headed south and there was a ladder that fell off a truck and landed in the middle of the freeway. the car in front of me ended up running it over giving me no time to react. so soon as the ladder came out from under them i tried to swerve but it was already too late i ended up running the ladder over which bent 2 of my rims.
i was wondering if all you san diego heads know any reputable rims shops that wont charge an arm and a leg but does quality work to repair bends and curbs.
any comments would help
thanks in advance

I have used the guys at American Factory Wheel.

I have also sent a friend there for a bad pothole bend and he was happy with the results. Ask for Josh the owner.

Nick from SDCS also recommended them as well when I was thinking about getting wheel work done. I hate seenig ladders strapped to trucks. They always look like they're going to fall off. Glad you didn't get hurt.

thanks all for the input!
i really appreciate it.
ill definitely start checking out some of these places tomorrow
ya the bends are definitely good sizes both on the inner aluminum barrel, thankfully there arent any fractures or hairline cracks on them just bends. so it should be fixable
it sucks how people dont tie things down and allow them to fly off on to the freeway, jus the other day i saw a couch lying in the middle of the freeway and people were swerving and dodging it trying to avoid it, its like really have the common sense to tie it down
its such a shame because its not them that have to pay for their mistakes its the innocent on comers that have to suffer for their stupid misjudgment /end rant -.-"
