Hey guys, My friend drives a 1985 Benz 190E 2.5, and her piston rings are shot. She needs them to be replaced for CHEAP. She can't drive out too far, and she would like to have someone close enough to San Diego to check it out.

Who would be willing to help her out? She's one of my BEST friends, and I don't want her to go to some random mechanic's garage.

Anyone?

 

blew out her engine? it takes alot to bust piston rings no? i would offer a helping hand.. but unfortunately.. my mechanical skills are only enough to change brakes and oil.. =[

 

if she's in san diego, have her go to Charlie's Auto off of Miramar Road. I've known him for over 20 years.
