OK guys, its been a while since we had a meet. I think the last one we had was the one that flipside909 setup. BTW a great meet. Ok lets try to set up another meet at K1. I was trying to setup a date, but Oct 1st too soon, and theres a show in SD. Oct 7th bad because I got a wedding to go too. Than the 14th is the Drift show. So the 21st it is. Here a link to there website if anyone wants to check it out. http://www.k1speed.com/irvine/index.htm. I think 11:00am good. Early enough to have a meet, chill out there in the louge and race. And of coarse checking out each other rides. Parking lot huge and not a lot of people know about this place yet. Same as D1 but a little bigger and cleaner. The place just open up in July. It has two tracks you can race on. If you just want to chill, it also has a louge and a couple of pool tables as well. Rates are pretty good as well. $20 a race, if you buy 3 race its $50. and you can save the race also for another day if you dont use it. Also the carts are electric motor. save your money and go back to dromo 1. i work by this place and tried it out. its a POS the go carts are like electric........ cost the same as dromo 1 but less fun. just lookin out for the homies.

Not able to make it but it looks like K1 will be busy this weekend. The 350Z guys over on My350z.com are planning a meet at the same date/time. They have almost 40 people signed up so far

There are many factors makes K1 a better place for go karting than d1.
D1 you need to make a reservation vs K1 u pay, take the card and play anytime.
Since D1 take reservation only for groups or unless u go on a weekday when nobody is there.. paypal deposit is the only choice to go with because there will always people trying to flake out.

Say if we host a D1 meet, we are starting collecting money for reservation ( you need a person’s credit card to pay for everything in advance) the next thing coming out from you is probably “watch out for these people, they will take ur money and run away.”

The only thing is the track is lil smaller than D1, but they go by best lap anyway.
