FENDER ROLL SHOp
#18
Just called 'STATUS' and talked to a guy by the name of Alex. At $40/fender that is a very very good price considering what I've been quoted. Cheapiest I have found myself is $120/fender *ouch*

Eternity3G Glad I got the discount price haha. A couple quick questions if you don't mind.
What size are your wheels 19's 20's??
After he cut them do they still rub??
How much did you lower the car??
Thanks for answering my questions. Just wanted to know cause it doesn't seem like you are running a stretch tire. Hope just 'cutting' that line will work for my car so I can finally tuck tire =D

Usually a normal job takes 30min to an hour... it all depends on how aggressive the wheel/tire/suspension/camber is... You know how it goes Henry... Onmy BMW, we spent 2 hours a day for 3 days... that was pretty freakin extreme...

make sure when u cut that off... if thats what ur planing to do and spray some new under coat over the freshly exposed metal or else u will have probs but a good shop would do this....so it wont rustalso im not sure on the gs if the panel is joined rite there or not so when they cut it make sure it dosent separte ive seen some bad jobs that ive had to repair... what ive usualy done is cut some slits in the lip and using a body hammer hit up the pieces then i fiberglass the slits together then i repaint with under coat so its nice and smooth looks like its supposed to be that way

This guy is right if you shave the fender the metal is exposed. Also the fenders are a double layer so once u cut it it splits so water gets inside and rust from the inside between the 2 metals. the right way is to cut it and weld it back and grind it down then add a spray on liner just like factory. This process isnt cheap and getting it cut i would make sure its sealed back.
Thats how I do my cars.
