Surfing the longboard...anyone???
Anyone here surf around Doheny or San-O? Any other good longboard spots north of San-O? Chime in. I have been trying to go at least once a week.

Alright I admit I used to go out quite a bit 2-3 times a week. Now with the kids and stuff it's been tough, as my weekends are pretty much gone. Never into the longboard thing though. I've got a 6'6 & 6'2 cut by Bruce Jones & picked up a 7'6 Becker for my wife. I used to go out w/my brother in law who was into the longboard thing & he used to kick my a$$ dropping in early on me. We did the Doheny thing (not a lot of fun for me, as I had to work too hard to catch the swell. We did Old Mans @ San Ono' & that's where I taught the wife how to ride. Further north we did Salt Creek (long uphill after session walk), Newport jetty (rivermouth), HB Cliffs (North)& Bolsa (south lot)
