Default Negotiating at Servco

Hey everyone, I just signed up looking to get some tips in purchasing a bone stock is250 from servco.

I figure that they don't budge in price much since they are the only dealership in Hawaii.

So, whoever has advice/experience in negotiating with them, please feel free to share.

Thanks!

i bought 2 cars from them....great sales group. but yea the prices they are a little tight on it, but you get what you pay for. They usually give like a 500 or 1000 discount or better yet just wait till the end of the year sales.

I went at the end of the 06 model year closeout. Got my wife's IS350 with the sport package for $37,700 OTD. I figured it was going about $41,xxx at MSRP OTD.

I bought 3 cars from them, 6 in total from our family. My current 2 (GSh and RXh) were well below MSRP without even asking. Like euro.r did, I waited til the end of MY. If you can hold out til Sept/Oct, when they start bringing in the 2010s, they will offer incentives to move the 2009s.

Good luck!

I'm taking a look at the rx now. I wouldn't mind an 09, but I didn't call and check if they have any left.I figure that an 09 could be had for under invoice OTD at this point.

Anyone bought a '10 rx yet?

When I went down this past week to buy the IS, I inquired about RXs for a friend. Salesperson said there was no 09 RX's already, they only have 2010s and 08 hybrids.

The crazy thing is that they don't want to budge on the prices of the hybrids by more than $1k.

Out of curiosity, how close to the invoice did you get for your IS?

Little hard to say since there was a trade involved. But IF you go off of what KBB trade-in value was for the trade at fair condition, then I was below invoice.

Try sites like edmunds.com or truecar.com to get some sense of it.

*on a site note, I got to ride in the 2010 RX when they took me to the storage lot. I actually prefer the the 09 RX just based on the interior materials. Some of the plastics are looking kinda cheap... only nitpicking since it is a $40k car we're talking about.

How's this for pricing:

2010 RX 350 FWD
- Premium Package - Comfort Package - Backup Monitor - Wood & Leather Shift/Steering

MSRP: ~$42,814
OTD Price: $43k

Apparently they have no problem selling them so they didn't want to budge on pricing. So, I'm here to ask for advice.

Thanks
