I believe Servco offers ceramic particle tint through TnT. A lot of the tinters out there sill use a metalized film which some people think will interfere with radio and nav. As long as you go with the ceramic film, you should be fine. Perhaps Judd and Colleen can chime in about reception quality as they went with a non-ceramic film on their cars.

Well, with all this talk about tint, I just called Al's and decided to drop off my GS for some Ceramic Huper Optik tint. Price quote was $440 (no windshield) + $220 windshield (if I wanted).

Now I'm stuck in my office (down the street) for the next 4-5hrs

Times change my friend

Its mostly personal preference. I've noticed a huge difference between titanium and ceramic in the heat reduction area. Big cost difference, but to me, its well worth it. If you get a chance, check out the "heat box" at Al's and tell them to give you a demo of the difference in the ceramic tint.

servco goes thru tnt
and brother who works for servco said the same thing...a metallic based tint "might" mess up reception. i ended up having it done at a friends place in waipahu with non ceramic tint. $160 for the lex, $120 for the truck

3 good posts here on CLH about tint shops and where we all go to.

I went to al's tinting to get mines done. They help me chose which one would be good for my car. Never had any trouble from them. Price on the other hand might be a lil' high, but you know what they say, "You pay for what you get."

i think thats if u tint the windshield and if the person sprays to much water on the windshield inside the car the water will leak down between your dash and the windshield then it will mess up the electrical components if im not mistaken the stock amp for the radio is on the passenger side under the dash by the fire wall some where....
