great point Vik, I always forget about that. I'm thinking of selling my wheels (and my car w/ them).

I don't think that wheel pictures well, but in person they look great. If you like that style of wheel, I'd suggest taking a look at the Volk Progressiv line of wheels. I think the Volk ME's are apart of that brand line.

They are a GREAT quality wheel at reasonable prices.

^ Yea I think these rims look good in person. I do like the ME rims but harder to find them in the correct offset and get a good deal on them unless someone has them or Mackin has a matching set in stock. Most of the ME rims are set up for the SC300 or the 350z with the aggressive offsets. On another note did you shave or roll the fenders on your GS?

So far IMO these are the best rims:
Volk ME
Work VSXX
Work SC1
Zone 10
and the rims pictured in this thread. it boils down to finding someone to work with me in this market.

Thanks for the input guys!! Keep them coming.

I want to go 19x9 front and 19x11 rear. I will shave or roll the rear fenders. no mods to the front unless I have to heat the liner. I want it flush and no streched tires for me. I would go with the VSXX or the SC1 rim if the prices are right. I also want them to be TPMS compatible (they can drill them if need be)

Thank you

thank you I am open to other specs also. just seeing that others are running this and not pushing it I like the fact I can get a wider rim up front. I would do a 10 or 10.5 wide rim if that made a huge difference but I dont think it will at that point

The first ones looked too linear for such a round car so they didn't look the best IMO. The last ones were better looking. Some rims I have always thought looked just killer on the GS are the 360 forged spec multi rims. I believe one of the mods on CL has them. Of course with 360 forged they cost some serious dough, but they do look purdy. Glad to see the GS is comin along Mike. Good luck with the rims decision. It's so tough!!

Scroll down on this page to see the GS pic, pretty bad a$$:

Yeah rims is a really personal and tough choice. I thought about investing in some but it was just too much work so I put that freak show on hold too.

The ISF is good. Winter rims/tires are not fun unless there is 4" of snow on the ground. So lets just say I can't wait for spring.

The MHP thread seems pretty cool but I'm not about to shell out $4k for around 30hp. Unless something really crazy comes about after re-tuning, which I don't think will, I'm still hesitant.

Hope all is well
