according to weather.com - this snow storm warning extends to 12 Noon Monday morning. its flurrying now in Lake County, IL.

I just got back from 20 mins test drive of my new winter tires (last summer I had the stock summer tires), and to sum it all up, I am sold on winter tires. I had my doubts, so I drove all of our cars (which included AWD S60, TL) with all season tires, and I was very impressed how the IS350 (snow mode) handled/accelerated/stopped.
edit: I dont know how much snow is out there, its been snowing for about good three-four hours now.

Be careful walking out of the house too. I nearly fell on my butt when I walked out the door to shovel the snow.
I think I broke the snowblower somehow.. engine runs but wont engage after using it for a few minutes.. cable's tight too.. hmm..

impressed with the GS in the snow with the snow tires so far. Feels like it bites more then the IS did probably due to the car being heavier? But this is a mild snow storm so will give it some time. The IS I would have to go up/down the driveway a few times. This am I just went straight up after ruining to the gas station. My Driveway was the ONLY spot I ever had trouble with in the IS even with snow tires due to the incline.

i was just out and it was funny to see a FWD spinning its tires at the light and I took off
Vik are you coming in your car or the RX tomorrow? If you are in the SUV I may see if you can help me take the Desk to Urmil with me since I can only fit one piece in the Acura.
