Thanks, I really thought these Triple Treads would be close to purpose built snow/ice tires based on tirerack.com.

BTW, what year is your LS?

I read your post yesterday....I have Dunlop Winter SP's and they are great in the snow...I mainly got them because they were Z-rated and ranked just as hight as the Blizzak LM-24's but for way cheaper....I still get some fish tailing but its not nearly as bad as when I had my stock tires on (whatever it came with originally)...those were just plain dangerous to drive with in any winter conditions

My GS4 is my 7th RWD car I have owned. I currently also own a LS. I have to agree with you about the LS feeling alot more in control, I think because its a longer and slightly heavier car it tends to cut through snow a little better. With snow tires on my GS it feels just as solid as my LS without snow tires. But the GS also has about 60 more ponies, so it'll always be a little easier to spin out. One thing I have noticed is that even when I start moving from a dead stop in the snow and I start turning, the LS just keeps going wherever I point it, but the GS's rear wants to slide out.

Each car is a little different, I love them both. I dont drive in the snow enough to even consider the GS being a hassle in the snow, with the VSC and SNOW on the car romps through just about anything, even up a pretty steep hill.

Well I decided I'm going to sell her. Not because of this...just want to try something different. I'm sticking with Lexus just not sure which direction I want to go right now.

If you know anyone:
