New guy here, Aaron from the far suburbs. I currently am living in Yorkville, which is near Aurora. 06 IS 350 (Matador Red Mica). Not too much in the way of mods yet (red outs, painting the emblems black right now, getting the wheels powdercoated soon, f sport intake...). I'll be looking to go to events and whatnot.
I just moved from Yorkville! Small world. I also think Lexus Kid lives in the area.. We passed each other going to work a few times. (I worked out in Big Rock) funny thing is.. now I live in Little Rock.

funny how life throws curve ***** at you… Split up with the ole battle axe, she kept the GS and I ended up with the Daewoo LOL. Daewoo broke down after about 9 months of use. Luckily my old man had a very sweet 97 LS400 parked in the garage. he said go ahead and take it, sold it to me for that Love price, and now im slowly modding it. Upgraded the wheels and tires, now sitting on 18 inch chrome ASA wheels wrapped with goodyear fierce tires. Just picked up a K&N air filter and looking to upgrade to some HID's.
After upgrading the wheels, I get looks from people driving new model luxury vehicles … Feels good to have a clean 97 LS turning heads. This thing is a cruiser, I love it!
I would like to upgrade the exhaust but I really enjoy the quiet ride, although I do the occasional romp on the freeway and would to hear the exhaust rumbling as I do a pass or enter the expy. The grill is pretty plain jane, but I cant see myself paying the ridiculous price for an aftermarket, are there any alternatives to the JP grill?
I have never had any issues but I have the front plate holder some where in my garage if you want it. it will clean it up and cover the extra hole up. If your in the city Im sure McGrath Lexus will just give you one.
