I think its important to see this car in motion as well. The front fenders have a very muscular appearance too them. Also the rear is MUCH better than the 745 although still somewhat awkward.

not that ugly
its not bad, but what car isn't bad that is going to run you 46-50k plus. Plus a high end car with a high end set of wheels and a high end body kit isn't going to look low end.

Dark colors and even just looking at cars in dark situations tends to make cars look great.
Then of course big rims can make almost any car look decent.

I was never a huge fan of BMWs, but I must say the previous gen 7 series was beautiful. I also think the last gen 5 was nice, though the model 2 gen ago was the best. The newer design theme which started with the Z4 and the 7 series is not what I would call beautiful. I've been waiting patiently for the new 7 series to grow on me, but it hasn't happened. And after seeing the new 5 in person, I don't think it will happen with them either. The new E class is heads above the new 5, IMHO.
