Ethanol law *IN CANADA* 2023...
https://www.canada.ca/en/environment-climate-change/services/managing-pollution/energy-production/fuel-regulations/clean-fuel-regulations/about.html It differs by province. Looks like for La Belle Quebec, it started Jan 1st: Quebec: effective January 1, 2023, gasoline and diesel fuels distributed in Québec will incorporate clean fuels. Quebec will require 10% low-carbon fuel content in gasoline in 2023 and increase this to 15% by 2030. For us here in BC, Shell (even the 93) has not been ethanol-free for a couple of years now. The mileage hit was pretty noticeable when they added ethanol to their blends. Only Chevron's 94 and some Costco 91 were still ethanol-free in BC (at least until the end of last year).
I had already found and tested a product called B3C Ethanol Shield and it's good for the gas can but too expensive for daily car as my RX...
I heard too about K100 but unavailable here in Quebec, if someone knows something else good AND TESTED, your sharing will be rrreally appreciated.
Tnx to all others that had debated on if ethanol is good or not but for me this question was solved since longtime ago and nobody will bring me to consider that it's good for a 2008 car as many others had stated like for bad mileage n corrosion due to water, etc.
I'd like to live in US for still have E free again !
Pls tnx to all to forgive my english !
