Once they dropped the CD/DVD player why did people keep buying upgraded ML audio package to begin with? To listen to what? 128kbps MP3? SBC Bluetooth audio?

I hoped with new infotainment Lexus would give us an option to fire up local FLAC or DSD but no such luck. When it comes to Bluetooth streaming neither aptX standard is supported let alone LDAC.

you do realize any source will sound better with ML, right? Also, there are built in services and then carplay and android auto.

‘Good stuff Bit. . It’s a real tragedy, Toyota removed, cd players, in some of their vehicles. Too bad the Prius does not have one.

Correct. I somehow lost the key for my wheel locks. Rather than go to the dealer or buy a new one, I pounded a 22mm socket onto each lock with a sledgehammer, then zipped it off with an impact gun just like any other bolt. Was noisy and took a couple of minutes, but wasn't difficult at all.

I like to get a CD or 2 at the library. I find CD more enjoyable compared to using my iPod (iPhone). Lot of old soundtracks I come across here and there which are not available elsewhere. Also love to buy country music albums

Looks like no sunroof/moonroof on the new Prius. Another cost cutting measure. Would have been the perfect vehicle to replace my Matrix

Maybe just in Canada? Because this video review of the Limited model has dual pane sunroof:

You can get a fixed glass panel roof, but it’s like the one in the Venza that doesn’t open.

what’s the point of the glass not opening?

Not sure what Toyota would say, but I’d assume it was to help keep costs down and also less weight to help with mileage.
