I'm quite certain I would go with Atomic Silver, though the LC looks good in any color. The one I test drove a couple months back was AS. Just gorgeous.
with a little gold tint, it looks really good on the LC in person, my only problem with it is there are too many other Lexus cars with this same paint around.
Yeah, I could see that. With a car as awesome as the LC, its just kind of a bummer to get it in any kind of silver or grey, as much as I love silver and grey lol
many times I think to myself why is it so expensive, but then I remember how every video review praises the quality and materials , and I remember sitting in one and thinking " yes , this is worth its price."
Probably the biggest argument in favor of that is the number of auto reviewers who splashed out their own coin to buy or lease an LC. Mark from Savagegeese is currently leasing one, and intends to buy another when he turns his current one in, because he wants a long-termer that hasn't been track abused like he's been doing. Moto Man also bought one a few months ago, and I think I remember at least one other that did as well.
These are people who get to drive literally everything. They only add things to their personal collections that really speak to them. And obviously it's not about numbers, because there are plenty of cars that destroy the LC from a spec sheet perspective. It's special, and that's what draws them to it.
If I got one, it would be a fun car and not my daily. It would replace my GS, which is the car we drive the least.
The special-ness of the car, at least to me, is in the wonderful way that it can feel docile and relaxed in one moment, then sporty and hard edged at the next. Not unlike my GS, but massively more so. It's big, but it kind of shrinks around you. I could easily take it on a road trip for several hours, or out to twisty mountain roads. The exhaust note is absolute music, and the styling is an attention grabber. I just love it.
I seriously would buy one if the right opportunity comes along, but I will admit it would be hard to sell the GS and we're making a concerted effort to save for a vacation house so I am trying to be good.
Maybe it has to do with the BIG naturally aspirated V8....now some small forced turbo like the LS500/LX600
The engine is nice and all, but having the GSF, it isnt the engine alone that draws me to the LC, its the whole package as SW17LS said. The looks, the rarity, the exhaust sound, the craftsmanship, the reliability, and many more.

I doubt a small turbo 6 would be as satisfying.
Definitely the best Lexus effort in the higher end prices. That said, the screen is small for such an expensive car. And the infotainment system is behind the times. But it’s a nice looking Lexus. I think the convertible is the best model. Too bad it’s a four seater. LC/LS also has 4 wheel steering before the competition like Mercedes or Audi did
Lexus should put the 5.0 V8 in the Lexus LS

I actually find Structural Blue intimidating. It's such a rare, unusual color due to it having no actual blue pigment. I would be obsessed with keeping it clean, the right way.
Exactly my thoughts! Seriously one of my favorite colors I've seen on a car and I typically don't like lighter shades of blue. Haven't seen one in person but in videos it looks way different.
