After 5 long, long months. Here it is.
Looks great and the front grille just looks like it says to other drivers, "get out of my way."
Did you get rid of the S580 for this and if so, how do you like driving a large SUV on a daily basis compared to a sedan? In our X7 which is much smaller than your Escalade I don't enjoy driving it much except on road trips because its so big to get around day to day.

Congrats! Looking great. Must be a long wait but worth it.
I would think most Californian would want this option because we often go Nevada. I guess the OP doesn't have that need. At some point in the past I was surprised to see a 2WD RX. I thought they all came with with 4WD as standard. Lol.

Congrats on the new ride! Looks comfy, what a beauty. I figured you were from LA (my home town!), the bigger SUV's are more popular in SoCal. I'm actually traveling to SoCal this Thursday, this would be a great vehicle to travel in, especially on hwy 5! Again, congratulations

Congratulations.....quite a vehicle.
I couldn't see the sticker-price clearly, but it appears to be north of 100K.....in six figures. (115K?)
Looks like you got about the same color-combo as my 2021 Buick Encore GX....the Bronze/brownish exterior and the two-tone beige interior, except that Cadillac apparently gives the color a different name (Mahogany Metallic).
I see they have toned down the amount of exterior chrome on the latest 2023 model....Escalades were formerly known for their bling. Interior, though, is head and shoulders above previous versions.
How does that 10-speed automatic shift? GM and Ford jointly co-developed the design, and, some Ford customers have complained about shifts that aren't as smooth as they'd like. But GM may (?) calibrate it differently for their products,
When it DOES rain in L.A., though, you can sometimes get some serious floods.
GM pissed off a lot of people charging for Onstar. One advantage is that it includes data which is beneficial for the rear entertainment. But I would rather it not be forced on me.

This is the Sport trim so almost no chrome
You get the first few months of OnStar free.....unless GM just recently changed that policy.[/QUOTE]
I thought it would be a slug coming from my S-Class but it's not to slow. For such a large and tall vehicle, it handles pretty good. Not as stable as the big Range Rover but close.

Every time I see an Escalade I stare because it has so much presence. It looks like a locomotive coming down the street.

Congrats! Great color! Were you able to order at MSRP or did you have to pay an ADM?
I really like the new Escalade. There was a black one in front of me at the carwash the other day, it was sweet, really good looking.
