My 2006 SE 3.3L V6 (actually my daughters now, and has hit over 170K)
Love this car. It's been trouble free since I bought it. Last summer I changed all the suspension, rotors and brakes, tires, bearings etc. She can now has another 170K

Wow, that's just getting broken in. She'll be able to give it to her own daughter one day.

Before she went off to college we offered to buy her a newer car, she refused. My daughter will probably hold on to this car till it dies, she doesn't like change very much...like her grandma

change happens whether we like it or not.
i couldn't stick with the 2014 camry i bought in 2020, let alone a 2006!
but glad it works for your daughter.
Actually, IMO that-vintage Camry was better than the newer ones. I consider the 3Gen 1992-1996 models the best Camrys ever built. It also included a wagon version that was dropped from the U.S. market in 1997. I still see a number of those-vintage Camrys on local roads here, 25-30 years after they were built.
1993 Camry in Champagne Beige (or whatever they called it) was my first car. I sold it in 2002. Now I have a 2005 Accord that I need to last a couple more years!

I still get irrationally excited whenever I see a 3G Camry Wagon on the road.
My parents had a 95 Camry. Very impressive ride and NVH control, with great interior materials. They had it for over 100k miles before someone t-boned them and ruined the car.

That's the only way to destroy a Camry, I'm afraid. I sold my 1999 Camry to a friend of the family in 2004...he is still driving it today with over 200K on it. They just won't die
Not long after I wrecked my 05 Camry, I bought a 99 with 240k miles. Put 30k on it in a little less than a year and it ran fine. Had an oil leak/consumption issue so I bought three quarts, put them all in, and about 50 miles later the engine went toast. Yeah I'm an idiot lol

Overfilling engine oil is worse than being a quart or two down. But you know that now, lesson learned

Yeah and I didn't have my phone with me so I had to flag someone down. Lol
My sister did the opposite. Our parents bought her a 99 Corolla after graduating. She never, once would change the oil. Once that care was done for, you would think she would stick with something that was easy on maintenance, right? Nope. She got a Volvo S60. Nice car but not the right one for her. Lol

Id rather have the 2014 Camry design than the new 2022 design. I kinda dislike TNGA formula/design quite a bit.
