Not many people will want to physically unlock their ECU and mess with all that.
I’m referring to software update that you can reverse back to stock any time.

 

Good to see annual updates to the Zupra (more power, 2.0) and especially the manual confirmation.

So S58 engine option but automatic only for 2024 and then manual option for 2025? Maybe I will finally consider buying one knowing the end is near...

 

I really like the zupra no matter what the haters say, good looks and generally great reviews. Looking forward to seeing how good the manual is

Kudos to Toyota for finally making this happen. But don't get how they are claiming it took moving some mountains to get it developed when BMW has had a 6MT paired with the M2 for years.

 

There is no manual trans that BMW offers currently with the B58 motor.

Previous gen M2 used S55 and new M2 will have S58 motor.

people should thank Nissan which forced Toyota's hand to making this happen. Toyota was adamant from the beginning that it wouldnt do a manual.....until the Z dropped.

Better late than never, but between the stealerships markups and its limited availability, these cars will be snapped up by collectors to collect dust in their garage.
