Default Spark plugs

Hey guys,

Tried the search, but all I get is aftermarket brands. How do aftermarket spark plugs give better gas mileage? thanks

The theory is that a better spark plug will produce a better spark and more efficiently burn the air/fuel mixture. Thus, more HP and with the fuel being used more efficiently, more gas mileage.

BTW, denso iridiums were not stock until 97+. Before 1997 they used something else.
