Yeah, aside from the novelty of a 12 cylinder engine, there's nothing the W12 does particularly better than the TTV8. I respect the engine as part of Piech's mad legacy and it did help further elevate the Bentley brand, but it's outlived its usefulness.

Well it doesn't have the power to go much above 160 anyway so I guess it's not needed anymore. It's not going to go 200+ like the 12s

High speed pull. You can really feel it after 160 in stock cars, tuned not so much but the 12 is still a little smoother/effortless than the 8, the 8 feels a bit strained at 160+

The 2021 S-Class has a top speed of 130 mph so even the Bentley Hybrid can go faster if it wants to. It also weighs about 1000 pounds more. Definitely needed the extra stability from the active anti-rollbars.

99% of Bentley drivers will never take their cars anywhere past 100 mph.

They are way faster than 130, tune it and you are good for 180ish

well manufacturers don't care much about used market.

From time to time, it's rare I don't get up to at least 100 once a drive. Got up to 150+ twice this month but that's only at certain roads and times.

Why would I bother with high powered cars if I'm not going to use them?
