Not personally a fan of the styling but it will be good to have another option out there for those looking for an electric truck. The stats seem to be pretty impressive.
Considering it looks more Avalanche inspired than Silverado... I think it actually looks pretty good. I was never a fan of the Avalanche. Always thought it was a goofy looking truck. Lots of interesting features in this Silverado EV as well. I really like how the back seats fold flat to expand the bed space. That's pretty cool.
I had a hand in the research and development of this, so now that the cat is out of the bag I can tell you, to expect it to beat Cybertruck's range and towing capacities, but especially its range when towing. It will blow the 150 mile heavy tow range of the F150 Lighting (which was tested at max capacity 12,200lbs) away. GM has some kind of new battery tech they are being very tight lipped on, and supposedly their new EV trucks are going to at least double the range of the CT, while also doubling the towing range @ max load. If that turns out to be true, it will be a game changer in the BEV truck world
Wow...1000 mile range will be a game changer. Hope it comes true.

This is quite interesting. I'm assuming GM will use their hummer components. GM is gonna do well with EV trucks..They have such a fanbase.. good economies to scale to make it a financial success
The specs were just released. Seems nice but can't say its much better than what the competition will release. Its not going to sway the CT reservation holder that wants a truck that can do 0-60 in 3s. Will it sway the F150 lightning owner?
Expected GM-estimated 400-mile range on a full charge offered on Work Truck (WT) and RST
Up to 664 horsepower with more than 780 lb-ft of torque in available max power Wide Open Watts Mode on RST, enabling a GM-estimated 0-60 mph time of less than 4.5 seconds
Standard DC fast charging (up to 350kW) on WT and RST
Up to 10.2kW of offboard power on WT and RST with optional equipment
Up to 10,000 pounds of maximum trailering with up to 1,300 pounds of payload on RST. WT will offer 8,000 pounds of towing and 1,200 pounds of payload. After initial launch, Chevrolet will introduce a fleet model with up to 20,000 pounds max trailering with the max tow package
You are hilarious You really are I mean that with the biggest heart/. The interior has been released, no way it will sway a CT holder either?
Cybertruck reservation owners aren't the typical truck owner. The are Tesla owners looking to upgrade for suburban duty. I just don't think they appeal to the same customer. You think Tesla won't sell every CT they make for years? These actual worktrucks won't have the same owner demographics.
I can not elaborate too much more, but i can say the name is in the pictures. However "Avalanche" is still trademarked so it may be a trim level in the future

you'd have to look that up, as i do not know. I only know from the team that i was on that its expected to beat the fully loaded range by double, and best the towing capacities of CT in models properly equipped.

The pictures were posted after I asked but thanks. And no need to elaborate, EZZ posted the link with everything we need to know
