3rd-gen GS had a handful of issues with the AWD system so if anything it's a car to avoid, especially in its advanced age.

I had a 3G GS350 for years and it was amazing, especially in snow. From memory I don't recall any major issues, and if there were any issues those affected cars are probably not going to be for sale or on the road.

The 3rd gens still have the GS300 included in that body style (06 only maybe?), and it was pretty slow and lifeless so that would be the only one to really avoid.
