Kia EV9 SUV (Spy pics)
I can see that. Put the rear seats down, and there is the Home Depot/Lowes runs. Family trip to SoCal with plenty of space. Has the specs been released?
Specs and pricing, if they hold is not bad:
800v battery architecture, which means 350 kW rapid charging. Will probably have available both a 77 and 100 kWh battery, with a range of 328 and 350 miles. It looks like it will have a starting $60K price tag:
"Kia hasn’t released any performance statistics just yet. We can safely assume the car will have a motor on each axle for all-wheel-drive, and a relatively sprightly 0-60 mph sprint time of 5.0 seconds is expected. A lesser model with a single motor driving the rear wheels might also be available, with a longer range and lower price. It will be interesting to see whether Kia offers much in the way of off-roading technology with the EV9, or if it mirrors the EV6 and adds a GT suffix to its electric SUV. Without that badge, it seems unlikely that the EV9 will be as powerful as the near-600 horsepower EV6 GT"

If they price this vehicle right and dealers don't gouge, than I'm going to seriously take a look a this to replace our Sienna. My co-worker has an EV6, and if it's anything near as good as that, than 100 percent I'm going to put this on my list

EV6 gets 310 miles out of a 77 kWh battery, no way this gets 328 out of the same pack. Given the shape, it’ll probably be closer to 240 with the 77 and 290 with the 100. Rivians aren’t great on efficiency, but their big block takes 135 kWh to get ~330 of range with the quads.
I would say outside of Tesla, H/K/G products are very trendy at the moment and for good reason in some cases.
