Okay, that's pretty big news. And all the more shocking that the Sequoia gets a more powerful engine than the LX.

Seriously, why is the hybrid TTV6 not in the new LX and Land Cruiser?

I'm guessing it's because the Sequoia is larger, but wouldn't be surprised if they added the hybrid engine to the LC/LX in a year or two.

Acoustic glass in the front doors
sad to see just part time 4wd
on the fence about the all hybrid set up

This is a really nice touch. A double storage shelf. I have it in my 4R, nice to see Toyota bring it to the Sequoia ,

And with a solid rear axle, the third seat looks cramped and takes up lots of cargo area.

edit- and no full time 4wd….really?? WTF

‘The outgoing model had multi mode. So it was both part time 2WD/4WD or you could leave it in full time 4wd all of the time. This version went a little backwards.

where did you see solid axle?
