And now Tesla monitors and limits how often you can adjust your seat. Can't make this up, lol. Soon enough we'll have cars that only drive to corporate approved locations.

“Excessive use of seat track motor detected,” and “Seat track motor unavailable due to excessive use.”

isn't this a safety concern is someone is moving a seat and it's stuck in a non-ideal position?

Obviously they are using cheap motors that quickly overheat, so they mask it with this ridiculous warning.

what is safety concern, someone finding a warning message in open source code and posted about it on Twitter? Message that nobody got ever?

perhaps the 1/25 date is when it was merged but you can find the first of the brake pad posts in here at this link (post 744 if it doesn't work):

it was a reply to the thread where they say tesla will disable seat adjustment feature if it's "abused", which got merged into this thread

Actually, they are using the same motors as everyone else which is Brose. Kinda much ado about nothing as this warning has never been seen on the tesla forums...lol. I guess every little TEsla quirk makes the news these days.

Well Fremont makes more sense than Spokane. Huge differences in weather, Infrastructure, and support.
