2002 Lexus Rx300, 4WD, V6, 190k miles - runs great, no AC Is it worth more simply to drive it till she's dead or try to sell it now? My hunch is that I will get more mileage out of it by driving it and save more money over the long term than selling it. Any idea how much I could sell it for?

 

If you don't plan on getting a replacement for it anytime soon, now is the best time in recent history to sell a car.

Plug it into a site like KBB and they'll give you a quote for what someone would buy it from you for near your local area. I can't make any predictions because used car prices have skyrocketed in the past few months and continue to go up as the chip shortage gets worse.

 

A Northern tier state like Minnesota might be the one area where kaput A/C won't hurt you too bad. Value of an older vehicle is so dependent on its cosmetic condition and service history that it's really hard to peg a value without more information. On the plus side, it's a very popular model and should immediately sell if not over-priced.
