Is it possible and safe to change my 2009 IS250 console to a 2021 IS 350 console and navigation system and add parking assist and rear camera and all the other tech features?

It's definitely possible ... by selling your '09 IS and replacing it with a '21 IS .....

 

so bottom line is I should save up for a new car

 

It would be way cheaper to buy the new car. I can't imagine the retrofit cost on that.

 

Yeah you could probably replace the head unit with something more modern, though I don't know the specifics on that. You may want to ask in the 2IS forums.

Look up the Grom unit. You will need to get the head unit that came as an option I am assuming for your IS. Probably can find it cheap used. Grom cost $599 which gives you Apple Car play and Android. Able to connect a back up camera as well. Probably cost around 1k.
