Well, you were one of the ones telling us that GM and Ford did the right thing dropping sedans. Now you say go figure?
I have referred to Cadillac and Lincoln which no longer have fwd sedans in the US. FWD sedans are heavily criticized and it is interesting how Mercedes and BMW have moved into the segment while Lincoln and Cadillac have elected to depart.

Lincoln and Cadillac both still have FWD crossovers. They have abandoned sedans, not FWD.
Not true for Cadillac. They still have American-market RWD/AWD sedans in the CT4/CT5 series.
Cadillac has some of the best looking sedans, in my opinion. My wife disagrees. She doesn’t like the angles, but I think they set the car apart & give it a sleeker appearance than it’s competition. I have really liked the look of past Audis, but the new buck-tooth look is hideous in my opinion. BMW still retains a great looking front & some Mercedes models (mostly upper end). Their cheaper stuff looks cheap to me & spoils the Mercedes image. The Buicks are just OK. I don’t hate them & I don’t lust after them. In my opinion, the Camry front looks like something the cat threw up. It’s an ugly mess in my opinion & so are most of the heavy duty pickups. Style is suddenly gone & cyclops ugly is suddenly in
