SC400 review
Saw this awesome review of the original SC400. I am surprised this car is only now starting to go up in value, such a timeless design. Unfortunately whenever I see one here in NYC, they are usually completely trashed. The one being reviewed is really clean and fully stock, a very awesome example!
It's so hard to keep a car clean and undamaged in NYC. My cars get scratches just being parked on the street. Too many careless people.
With that said, nice review. This guy has a number of SC430 reviews on Youtube. It makes me miss my SC.

I had a 94 SC300 super clean. Anytime I showed up at the dealer or car meets (when I did such things) I got lots of looks and questions. Like "was this your grandma's car?" LOL.
Still one of my favorites of all time inside and out, likely will own another as a project car to go TT.

It's pretty rare to see a clean SC300/400 anymore even here in Los Angeles where you see a lot of clean, older cars. I have a 92 SC400 that was my moms and has held up extremely well for a 92 with ~140k miles. The first generation SC does have a few age related issues, but beyond these few things, it's pretty much bulletproof with normal maintenance. Almost every time I take the SC400 out, I get thumbs up or comments. I was even getting gas recently and someone pulled in behind me just to ask about the car and comment on how clean it was. I'm glad to finally see it getting the attention it deserves. Maybe it will be the next Mercedes R107, which I also own and have seen values skyrocket. Two low mileage examples recently sold on BaT for $94k and $99k. Doubt the SC will ever reach that status, but maybe we will see $20k+ in the near future...
