Which is my whole point, this gen Land Cruiser is a great driver, if you can stomach the fuel bill. I mean I guess go pay $40,000 for one for it to sit in the garage, when I can go to my local Whole Foods and see at least 1 really nice J100 Land Cruiser or LX470 in the parking lot. Get there on the right really busy day and there might be 2, 3, or 4 in the parking lot, still really clean/not beat up.
The only new equivalent to that rig is a G500 and the prices of those are through the roof. The buyer got a great vehicle. Paid 10-15% less than new price and got a car with 95% of its life left. The buyer got a fair deal
the selling prices for pristine examples of toyota trucks are nuts, but again, these trucks are amazing and that example was incredibly well-preserved. too bad for 62.5k that it won't be driven, but garaged most likely even though that vehicle is such a cool driver's suv.
