Kinda surprised the Silverado made the list & not the F150 or a Ram 1500.
Although the F-150 is still popular, not everyone is enthralled with the aluminum bed and structure on recent models. And the Ram 1500, while having an excellent reputation for ride-comfort/quietness (IMO better than some so-called luxury cars) also has a reputation for unreliability. Silverados, among the domestic brands, are clearly the most traditional of the full-size pickups, and don't cost as much as their GMC Sierras.
Nothing surprises me when it comes to JDP's press releases. Remember, they're only in it for the money!
Well, there has been discussion here on that topic before (the idea of JDP getting payoffs for their rankings). Not everyone buys that idea (no pun intended)...it would, in some instances, amount to a bribe, which is not only against business-ethics, but often illegal as well.

There are so many gray areas regarding business-ethics and legality, that with a good law team, businesses can, and do, get away with just about anything! I don't believe JDP is taking bribes, I simply think they are bias toward the manufactures who choose to do business with them.
I always thought Jeep Wranglers were at the top when it comes to resale value, but I don't see it anywhere on here. But when looking at used Jeep Wrangler prices, they seem to keep their values pretty darn good.
