Does anyone buy these vehicles? I never see them. I see more MKZs (RIP) than the Nautilus.

This is just for the facelift, so it's pretty substantial. And it gets a much bigger screen than Aviator, so I wouldn't say it's really watered-down. Much larger effort for the facelift than say... the flagship LS500 received for its new screen.

The LS has the bigger refresh. Transmission calibrations, changes the ride, the hybrid transmissions shift change, new lights with the new state of the art bladescan technology...seat cushions are modified, new front styling tweaks...

The Lincoln did receive a pretty good interior refresh.

I'm aware that it's only a facelift, but this sort of thing isn't that unusual. Jaguar just did the same by revamping all the interiors of their aging vehicles in their respective refreshes. Usually, such a big revamp of the interior means that the car won't be getting a next-gen update anytime soon, just like the LS 460 after its interior refresh.

Etch-a-Sketch screens or not, there's really no comparison between the latest Lincoln interiors and those of just a few years ago. This was apparently one of those times when the bean-counters did not win out (there aren't very many of them in the auto industry), and the designers were actually allowed to spend some money. Those better Lincoln interiors were badly needed, as, before, for the most part, they were just rebadged Fords with a little more fake wood trim.

Yes, more and more we're seeing the need for bigger facelifts. Customers are demanding faster changes from automotive to mimic the consumer electronics industry. Will be interesting to watch what changes happen to overall lifecycles and product cadences from here on out, especially with moves to electrification.

Does Lincoln use that house as the backdrop for every launch lol?
I am relatively certain its one of Matthew McConaughey's many pads.
