great insights, thanks. maybe the palisade and crv didn't feel huge up front because of the wide center console, or were you referring to leg room?

Consoles are typically a greater or lesser issue for me. With the CRV, it was both the console and leg stretch out room. The CRV was not seriously contemplated. Rather, was just comparing with the '14 that my wife owned before her RAV4.

Sat in a Palisade today. I think the materials are nicer than Lexus RX and even GX. That said, no issues with size up front. I think the seating position is more upright than other crossovers. More van like. I have read a review somewhere that claims the Palsisade and Telluride are cleverly disguised minivans...with no sliding doors.

To be fair, the materials in the RX are nicer than the GX lol

All 3 row crossovers are cleverly disguised minivans with no sliding doors. I wouldn't call the seating position vanlike, more traditional SUV like vs lifted car style.

yep then you end up with a front seat with the lumber support of a card box box.

First thing first, If your not comfortable w/ the seat, s/w, ect, its not even worth driving it. Got to be comfortable to begin with.
